Fostering Direct Indigenous Peoples Participation in the Mineral Extractive Sector

IMEF aims to reduce the poverty of indigenous people living in mineral rich countries. Most indigenous people live under extreme poverty and in lands rich in mineral deposits. César believes that there is necessary to generate inclusion in the mineral extractive sector,  to integrate indigenous people as direct economic beneficiaries from their mineral wealth.

With IMEF he aims to contribute through researching and advocating, impact investing and business model solutions to empower indigenous people in the mineral extractive sector and access to capital markets. IMEF’s solution components are impact investing, shared value and grass roots innovation movements.
